Terms of Service

1. The service

getstruments is a peer-to-peer marketplace where users list musical instruments for rent and book instruments listed by others. We facilitate discovery and booking; we do not handle payment, delivery, condition inspection, or insurance. Transactions happen directly between renter and owner.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older to use the service.
• You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
• Keep your sign-in credentials private.

3. Your content

You own the content you post (listings, descriptions, photos). By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on the site so other users can find and book it. You must have the right to rent out any instrument you list.

4. Prohibited

• Listing instruments you don't own or aren't authorized to rent.
• Harassment, spam, impersonation, or scraping.
• Circumventing security measures, attempting to access other users' data.
• Using the service for anything illegal.

Violations may result in content removal and account termination without notice.

5. Rentals are between users

A booking is an expression of interest, not a contract enforced by us. The renter and owner agree on pickup, return, payment, deposit, damage, and any other terms directly. We don't guarantee the condition, authenticity, or availability of any instrument listed.

6. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data persistence, security, or fitness for any particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including lost profits, data loss, damage to instruments, or disputes between users.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can terminate or suspend accounts for violations of these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted here with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the new terms.
